After what felt like two years (but was actually two weeks), I finally got paid yesterday - and I've already spent 3/4 of it. Budgeting is just not something I'm capable of, I'm literally the woman from Confessions of a Shopaholic!! Anyway, here's some of the fun stuff I bought!

Maybe you don't think fancy wet wipes are classified as 'fun stuff', but I sure do. The cashier at Superdrug sold these to me as they were on offer at the till, two packs for £2.75 or something? I originally said no, as I always do to offers like that, but then I saw they were Micellar cleansing wipes and...I caved. I used one last night to take off my makeup and it was really soothing, and the wipes are very wet, presumably and hopefully with Micellar water. They're really simple makeup removers that are good for skin, so I'd definitely recommend picking up a pack, especially as they're so cheap.

Also pictured (just) are my two new fake tanning goodies. In an earlier post about fake tan, I did say I didn't use a mitt, but I just wanted to give them another go as I'm sick of orange palms. I also picked up a buffing mitt, which apparently, will help get rid of excess fake tan and avoid streaks, but I've yet to use it. Both of there were around £3, so also really cheap.

These right here are the secret to my lashes. These are the falsies I use on a daily basis, but I cut them down to 3/4 the length so they're not as obvious. They just give my lashes a bit of extra oomph and length, and I can't imagine going without them now.

The angle makes my shoes look huge but...I'm only a size 5 okay!!
These types of shoes are everywhere on the high street at the moment, and after picking them up in every store I went into and almost buying them in either white or black, I chose a Primark pair instead. These were only £10, which is half the price of other places selling them, and they're pretty much exactly the same. They are super weird to walk in though...

After trying Makeup Revolution last payday, I had to go back for more. I've heard a lot about this Radiance palette, so wanted to try it for myself. The colours kind of remind me of the Charlotte Tilbury duo, which enticed me. I haven't tried it yet, but I am very excited to! The shades are really pigmented when swatching, and as per usual with Makeup Revolution, the palette is really cheap.

Finally, the pièce de résistance...a cream blush palette!! I literally squealed when I saw this, because cream products are few and far between on the high street. Mostly, you'll just find powders, maybe the odd cream blush single. But for a brand - and a cheap one - to bring out a palette full of cream blushes (my favourite makeup product) is amazing, and I had to have it! On swatching, the products seem very pigmented and creamy as well as blendable and buildable. I'll probably do a full review later on in the week.

That's all I bought this payday, have you tried any of these products?

Charlie x
