With spring fast approaching (a week today I think!), it's time to update our makeup collection, and add a pop of colour. These are my top picks. From left to right, we have...
Revlon Colourburst Lip Butter in the shade Sorbet (swatch #5)
L'oreal Paris Color Riche in the shade Magnetic Coral (swatch #2)
Rimmel Lasting Finish in 101 (swatch #1)
Mac Pink Nouveau (swatch #7)
Maybelline Color Sensational in the shade Shocking Coral (swatch #4)
Rimmel Lasting Finish in 16 (swatch #6)
Max Factor Colour Elixir in the shade Bewitching Coral (swatch #3)

The Revlon Lip Butter is a staple piece in my makeup collection all year round, along with the Mac Pink Nouveau, as they both have amazing colour payoff and are really moisturising on the lips.

Both of the Rimmel lipsticks are a little muted but still perfect for spring time. I especially adore the 101, as it's a perfect baby pink that makes my lips look amazing. The only downside to these lipsticks are that they are a bit drying on the lips and tend to cling to any dry skin, so make sure you use sugar scrub and lip balm before applying them.

As for the coral colours (L'oreal Paris, Maybelline, and Max Factor), the L'oreal and Maybelline lipsticks are amazing for people with blonde hair - I often recommend them to friends, and they have a really good formula too, and are very long lasting. The Max Factor lipstick is one of my all time favourites, because it's so rich in colour and really suits my skin tone, as well as again, having a great formula.

Most of these are available from the drugstore for under £10 so even better!

I hope you liked this post, and have picked up a few new spring lip ideas. As I was writing this up, I thought that a matte pastel purple/lilac lipstick would be amazing for spring...agree/disagree?
